However, it seems like so much of the time we just click “add to cart” without really looking further into the products we’re buying. Especially today with social media, It’s almost like there is encouragement from our peers and validation given to us whenever we make a purchase.
I felt so much fomo when I saw that two good friends of mine had got their hands on latest Anastasia Beverly Hills palette and I had not.
I realized how ridiculous that was, and then thought about how I already have so much makeup and several drawers of skincare products at home…
So I’ve decided to take on a little challenge! Many of you in the beauty blogger community probably know this by the name “Project Ten Pan.” Over the next several weeks, I won’t be buying any new makeup/skincare/haircare products until I’ve finished or “hit pan” on 10 products. Hitting pan refers to when the pan or compact that a pressed powder/shadow is in becomes exposed when you’ve used the majority of the product. However, I’ll be making my own rules! So before I can do any shopping, I need to hit pan or use up all of the product!
Once this challenge is finished, I will review each product and let you know how it went for me. Wish me luck!
