2017 has come to an end, and so has the 12 Date of Christmas series! To be honest, the last couple of dates didn’t go as planned…. Due to the fact I have caught some sort of awful flu. I am writing this post from my bed, where I surrounded by my fur babies, meds, and lots of warm blankets. So, safe to say this last one will be very low key!

New Year’s resolutions, habits, goals…Whatever you choose to call them, it all comes down to change and personal growth. Cody and I decided to make a couple of goals together in 2017. Making goals together means you can keep each other accountable and motivated. Struggling, succeeding, and growing together is way more rewarding.
GOAL 1: MEATLESS MONDAY
I believe in the power of plants and what they can do for the body. My assistant is vegan and she runs a page on Instagram with her bff who also happens to be named Lauren… I know, it’s a lot! But @LaurelsandLeaves which always gets me inspired to cook up some plant-based goodness. Monday’s in 2018 will be all about the plants (and only plants) on my plate.

GOAL 2: WEEKLY PARTNER WORKOUTS
Both Cody and I both love working out, so we don’t have resolutions about going to the gym because we already go anyways! But we did think it would be fun to do one of our workouts together each week. Whether it’s going to SoulCycle or just doing yoga at home on the weekends, it’s still exercise! If getting fit is one of your goals this year, check out my must haves from Lululemon and my favourite places to buy workout clothes. Working out is way more fun and I always feel more motivated when I’m in cute workout gear!
I encourage all of you to make some goals with your boyfriend or girlfriend for 2018 so you can grow together! I can’t wait to see what is ahead for all of us 🙂
